BILL DEVINE is the firm's Managing General Partner. He has advised clients on

high-stakes matters for more than 20 years. His experiences in practice impelled

him to write Women, Men & Money (Random House, 1998), plus articles and op-ed

pieces that appeared in national media.

Devine graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and Dartmouth College. He earned

his law degree at Boston University School of Law, and is a member of the California

Bar Association. He is also a former college basketball coach.

Devine has presented more than 50 seminars across the country on topics ranging

from trusts, estates and property to negotiation, money and work. He has addressed

audiences at Stanford University School of Medicine, Santa Clara University,

Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, Santa Clara County Bar Association,

and Cisco Systems.
